Aneby (organic children’s clothes from Shropshire)

Aneby is a children’s clothing brand, with all items made from soft organic cotton. Good for the planet and for a child’s delicate skin. Designed in the heart of Shropshire (more sheep than people!), everything is made ethically from premium organic cotton fabrics.
Organic cotton or hemp children’s clothing is not only more comfortable (and better for sensitive skin). But lasts longer, due to not being treated by chemicals. And launders safely (for items with elastane or synthetic fibres, launder in a microfibre filter).
The Lullaby Trust has safety information on baby clothing (and bedding). Mostly to not over-heat (babies control temperature through their head and face).
Don’t let babies sleep in car seats (remove hats, socks and cardigans, when moving to warmer temperatures, including in vehicles).

The mix-and-match designs are perfect for little-people-wardrobes, and the neutral colours ensure every occasion is suited.

There is limited productions (to avoid fabric waste) and generous sizing (to accommodate for cloth nappies, if used). Or extended wear, as clothes grow with your child.

Everything is sent in compostable sugar-cane bags, within cardboard boxes (everything is plastic-free).

The range includes:
- Hats
- Dresses
- Dungarees
- Jackets
- Tops
- T-shirts
- Sweatshirts

The company was founded by a fashion graduate and pattern stylist, who had worked for major companies. After gaining the technical knowledge, she wished to use it to create more sustainable clothing for children.
At end of life, you can send back at least 3 items to Aneby to receive a voucher, and the items will either be reused or recycled, to help avoid contributing to the massive waste within the fashion industry.
