Social Shrub Drinks (tipples from surplus fruits)

The Social Drinking Company is a London brand that makes nice soda bases and cocktail drinks, made from surplus fruits. And a portion of profits help to feed homeless and vulnerable people, within the community.

Social Shrub is a modern take on an ancient recipe, to preserve surplus seasonal fruits. Made in seasonal batches with organic apple cider vinegar, spices and a little unrefined sugar, these can be enjoyed with or without alcohol.

The brand was founded by three women: a former lawyer in New York (who became interested in environmental law), an Asian businesswoman (who was brought up not to waste food) and a social entrepreneur who works with London food charities.
