two nuthatches Claire Tuxworth

This art print of two nuthatches in a tangle of hazel and brambles, is designed to bring a little woodland wildlife to your walls. Sold unframed, the print is available as A4 or A3 size, and is by artist Claire Tuxworth.

Nuthatches are small woodland birds, easy to recognise with their grey bodies, black eyestripes, white cheeks/throats and rust breasts. They have short tails, but long woodpecker-like bills. Nuthatches can use their powerful toes, to climb up and down tree trunks, to find seeds, nuts and insects to eat.

How to Help Our Woodland Birds

  1. Support companies that make ‘tree’ products from recycled materials (notebooks, bathroom tissue, furniture etc).
  2. Campaign to save our forests, by using your vote.
  3. Leave no trace on woodland walks (take litter home with you).
  4. Never smoke cigarettes (nor drop butts) in woodlands. This can cause wildfires.
