Chocolarder is an artisan chocolate company based in Cornwall, which uses ethically-sourced beans to create quality chocolate bars, that are ideal for eating or gifting. The bars are free from palm oil, and profits are used to support various environmental projects, including rainforest conservation.

Below are their plant-based chocolates (not suitable for dairy allergies, due to all their chocolates being made in one room). Keep chocolate away from pets (and use a letterbox guard for online orders). Read more on food safety for people and pets).

Toasted Oat Milk is made only with Gola Rainforest cocoa beans, unrefined sugar and toasted whole oats, for a smooth creamy chocolate bar that tastes amazing. Handmade in Cornwall, it’s sold in easy-to-recycle plastic-free packaging.

The cocoa beans are grown under the canopy of Sierra Leone’s Gola Rainforest National Park, which is home to over 330 bird species (14 face global extinction). It’s also home to endangered forest elephants, pygmy hippos and chimpanzees. This project offers income for farmers, to help them to protect the area from deforestation, using hand-harvesting under the canopy, instead of ‘easy harvesting’ that has devastated the region.
