bamboo toothbrush

This bamboo toothbrush is the ideal size for little mouths and hands, made from the world’s fastest-growing grass (industrial bamboo is not the same as fresh shoots, eaten by pandas). Plastic toothbrushes are one of the world’s biggest form of landfill waste, as dentists suggest we all change our toothbrush every three months or so.

Supervise children when brushing teeth. Use with Green People organic children’s toothpastes, in easy-to-recycle sugar-cane packaging. Never use xylitol-sweetened toothpastes in homes with pets (just licking from around mouths or sinks could harm).

The toothbrush has a cute bunny design etched into it, so it can be coloured in to differentiate each toothbrush, in households with more than one child. Designed in collaboration with dental hygienists, it’s sent in recycled card packaging. Designed in Slovakia and made responsibly in China.

The only caveat with bamboo is not to steep in water, or your toothbrushes with biodegrade away! To avoid animal hair, bristles are synthetic (nylon and bamboo dust). At end of use, remove with pliers, and compost the brush.
