It’s nice to bake your own vegan cakes, but sometimes this may not be possible. Say if you’re ill or a bad baker! In which case, are some places that you can indulge for yourself or others, for special occasions.
Use a letterbox guard, for delivery to homes with pets (chocolate, nuts, spices etc). Never eat cakes sweetened with xylitol near pets (just a few crumbs can be lethal) Read more on food safety for people and pets.

Crust Vegan Bakery is tucked down a little side street in Philadelphia, and offers a wide range of occasion and wedding cakes, made to order with wholesome ingredients. Flavours include ‘raspberry cream cheese’, vanilla lavender, pistachio raspberry and chocolate strawberry.
Canada also has some good vegan bakeries. Level V Bakery is located in the heart of Vancouver.

Tori’s Bakeshop (Toronto) makes everything with locally-sourced organic ingredients. The range includes seasonal pecan pie, cinnamon buns with ‘cream cheese’ frosting and party cakes.

A Vegan Bakery (in the heart of Paris?)
Voilà Vegan is a recipe book by the classically-trained American pastry chef (who trained at Cordon Bleu) who decided to do the unthinkable, and set up a vegan bakery, in the world’s most butter-obsessed city.
Situated in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, her baker’s donuts, brownies, macarons and profiteroles were a surprise hit with locals.
