Make Your Own Energy Bars

peanut butter granola bars

Energy bars are the perfect nutritious treat, whether you have them as a healthy snack or enjoy them before or after a workout. But most energy bars are not just hideously expensive and in plastic packaging, but most contain palm oil and other dodgy ingredients. Just make your own, and  store them in an airtight container in the fridge. Peanut Butter Granola Bars (Minimalist Baker) are naturally sweetened with maple syrup anad dates, and you can add optional dried blueberries or strawberries.

Keep energy bars away from children, due to nuts/eeds. Keep energy bars away from pets, due to toxic ingredients like nuts, seeds, chocolate etc. Never use xylitol sweetener (lethal) near pets.

Apricot & Ginger Energy Bars (So Vegan) dunk one end in chocolate, making for a delicious and nutritious treat. You don’t have to do this if you prefer them plain. These keep for several days in the fridge, in an airtight container.

I am going to listen to the wind and see what it tells me, or see if it tells me anything at all. I will follow the songlines and see what they sing to me. And I might bring a harvest of fresh tales, which I can scatter like apple seeds across this tired and angry land.
