Heartcure offers nice organic cotton t-shirts, all fairly made and printed with water-based inks. This non-profit was set up by a vegan duo to help animals, and it can also offer wholesale orders for shops and social causes. You can even returned used items, and they will sell them on their Vinted account.
For synthetic fabrics (including recycled polyester), launder in a microplastic catcher.
Nobody’s keen on a ‘preachy vegan’, but fun message tees get the animal-friendly word out, at the same time as helping the planet by offering organic or recycled cotton clothing, to replace items that you would otherwise buy on the high street.
Organic cotton or hemp may cost more, but it’s better for the planet and fibres last longer, as they are not treated with chemicals (and farmers don’t have to wear uncomfortable protective clothing in hot weather).
Organic cotton also washes safely and biodegrades back to the earth, at end of life. It’s also softer on skin, so ideal for people with eczema or psoriasis.
