Kentucky Fried Chicken is the world’s second largest fast food chain, with over 22,000 restaurants worldwide. Founded by Colonel Sanders, it has criticism from environmental and animal welfare campaigners\ It did give up palm oil, and its secret blind of herbs and spices is apparently locked in a safe. should we support vegan KFC meals?
KFC branches now offer Beyond Fried Chicken in a green bucket. The jury’s out on whether people should support plant-based foods from fast food restaurants that make money from meat. But billions order KFC and it’s not likely to stop soon, so at least tell others about it, even if you don’t buy yourself. KFC fries are cooked in the same oil as popcorn chicken (and their vegan chicken contains titanium dioxide (a food additive not safe near pets).
