Bronwen Gwillim is a super-talented designer who makes beautiful jewellery, made from plastic waste collected from the beautiful beaches on Wales’ Pembrokeshire coast. These unique items are a wonderful way to support someone who is helping to clear the seas of harmful plastic, which harms our marine wildlife friends.
The plastic is cut, shaped and formed by hand, then combined with industrial waste plastic, recycled silver and resins (which Bronwen recycles into her own plastic dust!) By using hand tools and reclaimed materials, little is thrown away.
Plastic on the beach may start off without a soul. But once weather-worn characters are given a makeover, they are beautiful with shapes and textures inspired by the sea, and walks by the shoreline. Sent in sustainable packaging with a personal message and business card to pass onto your friends. Most items are sent First Class (with slight delays, as the Post Office only visits two days a week!)
