Ombar (quality vegan chocolate bars from Cambridge)

Ombar is made by a small team in Cambridge with cacao (for superior taste and quality). They say ‘Cocoa? We don’t know her!’ Flavours (and even the biscuity ones have no palm oil) include:

• Creamy oat m*lk and smooth dark
• Raspberry coconut and pistachio cream
• Vegan biscuit (like Yorkie bars!)
• Hazelnut truffle (tastes like Nutella)
• Caramelised or matcha blonde (green chocolate!)

Avoid caffeine for pregnancy/nursing.

You can find these in shops or order in bulk online.

If ordering online, use a letterbox guard to stop dogs getting to chocolate bars if you’re out. Other ingredients like dried fruits, nuts, coffee, spices and xylitol are also unsafe. 

Try to find chocolate in paper, tin, foil or tins (some ‘biodegradable packaging’ is made from eucalyptus that is from flammable tree plantations, not helping wildfires).
