Rhythm 108 (plastic-free treats from Switzerland)

Rhythm 108 is a Swiss company that makes vegan biscuits and chocolates, at the foot of the Alps. The founder studied engineering at Oxford University, then after moving to Switzerland, was inspired to create a brand that is vegan, free from palm oil and sells in plastic-free packaging.
You can find these biscuits and chocolates in stores nationwide, from health stores and farm shops to major supermarkets.
It’s best to avoid caffeine for pregnancy/nursing. Keep chocolate (and other ingredients like dried fruits, nuts and nutmeg) away from pets.
You can recycle packaging at supermarket bag bins, if your kerbside does not recycle.

Why Choose Dairy-Free Biscuits & Chocolate?
Most dairy (especially in processed foods) is not from free-range cows, but from the factory-farming industry, where baby calves are shot dead soon after birth, due to being of no financial use. Cows and their calves have incredibly strong relationships, staying together for months after birth.
Many people therefore choose dairy-free for animal welfare reasons. Others are dairy-free due to allergies, and some even find that giving up dairy is good to heal sinus and/or skin problems.
You can easily get calcium from plant-based foods like green leafy veggies (check medications due to vitamin K), pulses, nuts and seeds
