KIND2 makes quality vegan shampoo/conditioner bars, with no palm oil. Each bar lasts around 60 shampoos (or 80 uses for conditioner). Sold in cardboard packaging (printed locally and fulfilled by a North London company that offers employment/training to people with learning disabilities). Store in a slatted soap tin to avoid going squishy (so water drains away after use).
If shampoo bars get in contact with eyes, rinse well with warm water. Avoid essential oils for pregnancy/nursing & affected medical conditions. Also keep away from pets (due to wrong PH, essential oils & macadamia oil).
This brand was founded by an Australian businesswoman who came to live in London. After her husband returned from a sailing race across the Pacific Ocean with ‘tales of seeing more plastic than fish’, she gave up her job to focus on making plastic-free haircare ‘the new normal’. These bars don’t fade colour and even work in hard water (for very hard water, the company recommends their Rebalancing Bar).
