Switch to Silicone Food Covers

silicone food covers

This set of 6 silicone food covers are made from a substance made from sand and fossil fuels, that is far less likely to break down into microplastics. Designed to last for years, you can usually recycle it when done. Food-safe, these food covers are the ideal alternative to replace clingfilm or foil, to keep food fresh.

Stretching to fit square or round containers, they also can fit over a salad bowl, pumpkin or even a watermelon. Just choose the size closest to your bowl, dish or container, or stretch it over sliced fruit. The set includes difference sizes. Wash before first use in warm soapy water (dishwasher-safe, but avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbing brushes, soaking stains in a solution of baking soda). Ensure they are dry before nesting them back inside each other. Heat and frost resistant.

These silicone food storage bags are food-safe. They feature leakproof seals and helpful measurements on the outside, for ample food storage. They can also be used as bread bags. AVailable in 5 sizes, you can insert a baking soda/vinegar solution for odours and stains, just close the bag and let it sit for a day. Dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe, and heat-resistant up to 220°C / 428°F. The slider gets easier after the first few ues (apply a little vegetable oil on the track, if needed).

Silicone Reusable Food Huggers

These silicone reusable food huggers are ideal to preserve leftover food like half-sliced items (avocados, apples etc). They slip on and off to provide a seal to help cut perishables last longer. Nested in 4 sizes, you can also use them for half-cut lemons, onions and tomatoes. The huggers also seal glasses and jars, perfect for half-consumed drinks to keep fresh. Dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe.

silicone stretch lids

Silicone Stretch Lids are good to cover bowls, jars and cans (it’s best to transfer food from cans to a bowl, for food safety). You can also use these to cover half-cut fruits and veggies like onions or melon.

We are the first generations surrounded by evidence, that our attempt to separate ourselves from nature has been a grim failure.

I wonder if every animal is a spirit. If they are all spirits sent to you? And how you treat them, is what you are.
