We have also tried to minimise blogs that offer annoying pop-ups. So ignore this (hopefully they will get rid of them one day!), and just enjoy the recipes. But most are pop-up free. Here’s the list:
Short Girl, Tall Order is a hidden gem. This petite talented chef offers quality detailed posts and beautiful photography, one of the best blogs on the web for recipes. Mostly focused on baking and desserts, but plenty of savoury dishes too like her Vegan Gnocchi with Tomato Cream Sauce.

The Veg Space is a wonderful blog by a UK blogger and trained chef, who offers affordable detailed recipes for unique meals and desserts, along with all your traditional favourites (shepherds’ pie to trifle to jaffa cakes). Shane & Simple is a really nice blog by a young man, who used to eat ‘normal food’, and so now creates ‘normal’ plant-based food that is affordable and made with real ingredients. He writes ‘you’re not going to find recipes for chocolate balsamic glazed beets with wild shiitake mushrooms, in a fancy rhubarb and strawberry glaze’. This foodie-obsessed Swiss-Italian chef is phenomenally talented, his recipes are quite unique and cover everything from vegan versions of chocolate croissants to Panettone, Not beginner recipes, but sure to impress! Heartful Table is a beautiful blog by the founders of a minimalist website, run by a married couple (he writes, she creates and photographs recipes, often inspired by her Eastern European roots). It used to have recipes too, but now the recipes have popped over here to their lovely new home. There are filters to choose seasonal recipes, a nice update to focus more on local natural foods.
