The Best Zero Waste Vegan Wallets

Filed Under: Getting Around Tagged With: money

Willow Earth cardholder wallet

These quality vegan wallets are all made with kinder and more eco-friendly alternatives to leather. It’s not true that leather is a by-product of the meat industry. It’s usually a separate industry with high pollution rates for tanning – and most items are made in countries with little or no animal welfare laws (even the designer brands).

Although we are not quite there with ‘biodegradable vegan leather’, things are getting better – Mirum is an new greener plant-based leather that is coming onto the market. If you are on a budget, all these brands have regular sales.

Unless you need them, say no to optional paper receipts. They are a huge waste of trees and inks, and also one of the main cases for giving people skin conditions like eczema.

I am going to listen to the wind and see what it tells me, or see if it tells me anything at all. I will follow the songlines and see what they sing to me. And I might bring a harvest of fresh tales, which I can scatter like apple seeds across this tired and angry land.
