Luisa’s Vegan Chocolates (from Nottingham)

Luisa’s Vegan Chocolate is made in Nottingham, and pays farmer above standard fair trade prices. The chocolates are mostly based around cashew mylk, and available in many flavours including rose, white and matcha.

Plus there are Easter eggs and advent calendars, in sustainable packaging.

Avoid caffeine for pregnancy/nursing.

If ordering online, use a letterbox guard to stop dogs getting to chocolate bars if you’re out. Other ingredients like dried fruits, nuts, coffee, spices and xylitol are also unsafe. 

Try to find chocolate in paper, tin, foil or tins (some ‘biodegradable packaging’ is made from eucalyptus that is from flammable tree plantations, not helping wildfires).
