Often people who run blogs, websites or have to produce brochures etc, have to buy images individually, or sign up to expensive sites to download images. A much better idea is to join up one these sites (the third one is free) and you can find beautiful images for one low price. Why not have look, and see if you like what you find? You can resize images for free at Photo Enlarger or Reduce Image Size.
- Styled Stock Society is a site where you can join up, then instantly download lots of nice feminine stock photos. This works out way cheaper than paying individually. Ideal for lifestyle and beauty blogs. You also get over 1,000 customisable templates and new photos each week.
- For around £20 a month, Scopio gives access to their high quality photos, on subscription. This not only works out more affordable, but also helps to support indie creators. Photos are grouped (plant-based, children, black lives matter etc).
Unsplash (free) is a site where indie photographers worldwide share their work, in exchange for a quick shout-out (not legally necessary, but always welcome). Just click an image to receive an instant credit link back on your site. Not all the photos are brilliant, but many are, it’s just a case of searching for what you need or want.
