Battle Green’s Illustrated Swedish Dishcloths

These Swedish dishcloths are made from a blend of cellulose and cotton. They soak up spills, last for months, and break down in home compost when you’re done with them. You get absorbency without plastic waste. What’s nice is that each design features a creature impacted by plastic pollution.
Use with plastic-free cloths and sponges. Choose Unscented dishwash for pregnancy/nursing and for cleaning baby/pet bowls (citrus oils are toxic to pets). Never mix vinegar or lemon juice with any bleach (causes toxic gas). For half-full bottles of chemical liquids, don’t pour down drain (dispose of at your local tip).
Swedish dishcloths are not just for Swedes, they were called this because that’s where they originate. But basically they are any dishcloth made from cellulose and/or cotton, rather than nylon cloths that leach microplastics down drains and into the sea, once rinsed.
