Planthood (wholefood, plant-based meal kits)

planthood

Planthood offers chef-made wholefood plant-based meal kits, an ideal alternative to ready-meals that are more affordable than home-delivered meals, yet do a lot of the work for you, if you are busy or perhaps unable to cook from scratch, for whatever reason.

If you’re on a budget, just eat half and bulk up with spuds and veggies (or bread), then eat the rest the next day. Still better food, at half the price! Keep dry ice away from children and pets, and recycle any other packaging. Read more on food safety for people & pets.

Although it’s good to make your own food, sometimes life gets in the way. So rather than stock up on expensive supermarket ready-meals, if you have freezer space it’s often a good idea to stock up on some good plant-based ready meals.

In just 15 minutes, enjoy restaurant-style plant-based cuisine, right in your kitchen.

All the packaging can be recycled or composted, rinse pouches and dressing pots out beforehand. You can return liners and ice packs to the company for reuse. Although nontoxic, it’s best to avoid pouring ice gel down the drain, as it could cause clogs.

The boxes are quicker than a recipe box, but quicker than a ready meal! They include sauces, garnishes and fresh veg. Most ingredients are organic, and everything is designed with gut-health in mind with high-fibre vegetables, fermented foods and polyphenols.
