To use, just push up the cardboard disk at the base to reveal your desired amount, and apply to your underarms. A pea-sized amount should be enough.

Choose unscented deodorants for pregnancy/nursing and affected medical conditions. Avoid shea butter for latex allergies.
Natural deodorants are free from artificial fragrance and aluminium (not the same as natural alum which is okay) and sold in zero waste packaging, free from animal ingredients.
To prevent body odour, take a daily shower and wear loose breathable fabrics like cotton, linen or hemp. Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins and eat a balanced diet (go easy on foods that trigger body odour like spicy meals, garlic and onion).
Why switch to natural deodorants?
Anti-perspirants use aluminium compounds (not the same as natural alum) to temporarily block sweat ducts, which some believe is not good for health (breast cancer, dementia etc). Aluminium salts are what give ‘yellow stains’ on clothing.
Conventional deodorants often rely on parabens (also linked to hormone disrupters) to extend shelf life, and synthetic fragrances don’t biodegrade when washed off and can irritate the skin.
