Hello! This site has been a real labour of love, and although it’s packed with now over a million (!) words, it has become overwhelming. It’s time to start pruning and simplifying, to let the real helpful and creative information shine!
Alas due to many personal life issues, the wheels have fallen off a bit, as regards to keeping the site professional, grounded and stable. That’s where you come in!
It’s now a good idea to get someone else on board to deal with the nuts and bolts of overseeing the ‘business’ side of things. Like affiliate income and charity giving, and taking care of SEO and social media (apparently it’s needed, in this day and age!)
If you have a real interest in the natural world, are honest and efficient and have the following skills, please send a friendly note for perusal. In return, you would receive 50% share of the business and any future profits (minus the 10% or more given to small animal welfare charities).
I am very creative but have no common sense or left brain, so the following skills are required to take this project forward!
- A knowledge of business banking and how to use phone apps! This is to set up a virtual business address, business account and charity giving account, for site income and giving.
- A knowledge of CANVA (in order to make use of gorgeous matching templates for social media, to match our logo).
- A knowledge of how to use Pinterest and Instagram (including Instagram stories etc, we have matching templates to use, to promote posts, share info and offer discount codes etc to attract traffic)
- A good basic knowledge of SEO (search engine optimisation) to promote and optimise our long-form quality posts that are gradually being edited (we have a software to help with meta tags and descriptions)
- To take over our extensive list of affiliates (keeping them updated, deleting some and adding new ones, as the site improves and grows).
What Do You Receive in Return?
- Knowledge that you are doing good for the world, on a site that has smashing reviews and carefully written and interesting creative content to help the planet, animals (and people too!)
- A 50% share in the company with profits, plus at least 10% given to small animal welfare charities.
- If the site reaches its profit potential, a nice part-time income for a unique project!
What We Need?
Absolutely trust, honesty and integrity. We have had applications from people not prepared to be 100% transparent, this is imperative for any successful applicant. Any applicants with false names, fake emails or fake websites will be ignored.
Any successful applicant will (hopefully) enter into a personal friendship and colleague relationship, for years of valuable and fruitful work, to help others.
Only apply if you share the site’s values, you are 100% honest and willing to get on board immediately. This is a labour of love from a private writer, not a ‘celebrity cause’ or quick-fix gimmick site.
It would be nice to earn an income (so this can be a nice life/balance career, while both helping the planet/animals and using some of that income to help others). But money is not the main focus of this site, and it’s important that whoever comes on board, shares the same genuine passion and ethos.
