Plastic-free sponge scourers (to replace green nylon pads)

Who Gives a Crap? eco sponge scourers are made from natural loofah (from a plant), responsibly-source wood pulp and water-based inks. Stylish and durable, each pack contains four sponges. These are  tough enough for all cleaning jobs, yet too pretty to stay in the cupboard!

Designed to replace green-topped plastic sponges (that leach microplastics down sinks when rinsed), this sponge has a scrubby loofah side (from a fast-growing plant) and an absorbent side for other cleaning tasks.

If using with cleaners, choose biodegradable cleaning brands (unscented for pregnancy/breastfeeding/babies and affected medical conditions). Avoid essential oils near pets (citrus oils are unsafe, so don’t use to clean floors/counters). 

How to care for your eco sponge scourers

Wet before use, then rinse and wring well after use. Prop upright to air-dry to keep bacteria and smells at bay. You can toss them in the dishwasher (or give them a quick boil) to refresh, and replace every month or so.
