A Friendly Soap Bar for Mucky Mechanics!

Friendly Mechanic’s Soap (made in Northumberland) is specifically designed for people who work with car engines and the like, to remove dirt, grime and odours, after a hard day’s work. Or it’s ideal to keep in the office bathroom, when you need to quickly wash your hands. Also sold in packs of 12.
Unlike most soap bars, this one is not just vegan but free from sodium palmate (palm oil) so is orangutan friendly too, protecting their natural forest habitats!
As this soap contains essential oils, it’s best to avoid during pregnancy/nursing, if you’re a female mechanic (girl power!) Also keep away from babies and pets (due to citrus oils).

Made with grease-busting lemon oil, the soap breaks down oil and grime, accompanied by volcanic pumice stone, a natural exfoliator. Bicarbonate of soda adds to the mix, scented with cedarwood patchouli oil (which is not too ‘feminine’ a scent, so ideal for male mechanics who don’t want to smell of roses!) It does contain tea tree oil, so be aware of this if you have very sensitive skin.
The soap is packed in zero waste paper packaging. You can also subscribe online for big savings, or just buy one or two bars to try out first!
This soap is fantastic. Easily cleans off dirt and grease that other soaps and hand cleaners won’t shift.
My husband whilst using it said ‘Oh, it is so rough!’ They clean his greasy hands very well, and he smells no more of engine oil!
