Green People is a fabulous range of organic vegan cleansers, these are all vegan and free from palm oil, made with natural ingredients, and sold in easy to recycle sugar cane packaging. Recycle at kerbside or at your local Boots recycling box.

Due to essential oils, choose scent-free options avoid for pregnancy/nursing.

Many skincare products contain cocoa butter or zinc oxide (in sunscreen, cosmetics and deodorants). If you live with pets, wash off before letting pets kiss you, or ideally avoid completely.

Green People Scent-Free Cleanser

Green People Scent-Free Cleanser is clinically proven to be kind to sensitive skin, many loyal customers have used this product for years. It’s suitable for all skin types, including ultra-sensitive skin and people who have red skin or rosacea.

Ideal to double-cleanse (and even to remove make-up), it won’t leave skin feeling tight or irritable. It also contains shea butter to calm and moisturise the skin. Made with:

Calendula (to moisturise and soothe inflamed skin)
Shea butter (rich in vitamins and very moisturising)
Rosemary extract (to protect against free radical damage)
Inulin prebiotics (to balance skin and hydrate)

Just apply a small amount to face and neck, using your fingertips or a reusable cotton pad. Gently massage into skin, using circular movements. Remove by rinsing your face thoroughly with a flannel. Finish with a splash of cool water.

This product is great for my mature rosacea skin. It calms and soothes it every wash. I have been using this product for many years now.

Having sensitive facial skin, I wouldn’t use anything else. I’ve been using it for 18 years now and can thoroughly recommend it.

Rose Geranium Organic Cleanser

If you prefer a scented cleanser, the rose geranium organic cleanser is similar, simply with the addition of some floral oil. Choose unscented for pregnancy/nursing.

Green People Hydrating Cream Cleanser

Green People Hydrating Cream Cleanser is made with organic ingredients, it’s vegan and free from palm oil, sold in easy-to-recycle packaging (either at kerbside or at any local Boots branch recycling box).

Naturally hydrating and with no harsh ingredients, it’s made with soothing aloe vera and pomegranate oil. Ideal for mature skin. It also is able to lift away make-up. It’s also enriched with plant active and hibiscus oil, ideal for menopausal skin. Scented with spa-like mandarin, ginger and ylang ylang essential oils.

Key ingredients:

Cranberry oil (for moisturising skin)
Hibiscus (for skin elasticity)
Pomegranate oil (full of antioxidants)
Rosehip oil (to help regenerate tissue)

Green People Foaming Face Wash is made with organic ingredients, it’s vegan and free from palm oil, sold in easy-to-recycle packaging (either at kerbside or at any local Boots branch recycling box).

Ideal for oily skin, this contains prebiotics to help balance your skin, and is also ideal for combination skin. But won’t leave skin feeling dry. The specially designed pump draws the active ingredients into a light cleansing foam.

Although most kerbside recycling accept plastic bottles, most as yet do not accept plastic pump dispensers. However you can recycle this (or the whole package) at your nearest Boots recycling box. If you don’t live near a Boots, for now just choose cleansers (or any beauty products) without plastic pump dispensers.

Polysaccharides and aloe vera (to hydrate)
Green tea (an antioxidant to protect skin)
Inulin prebiotics (to hydrate skin)
Aloe vera (to soothe and hydrate)
Larch tree (to balance and soothe)
Bergamot essential oil (to control oil)
Rose geranium essential oil (floral scent)

Use fingertips to apply 1 to 2 pumps, taking care around the gentle eye area.
Gently massage into skin, using circular movements.
Remove by rinsing your face thoroughly with warm water.

Oy Clear Skin Face Wash

Oy clear skin face wash is specifically for oily and teenage skin, say if you suffer with acne or pimples. It contains witch hazel and tea tree leaf extract to balance oil, and willow bark to calm the skin (a rich source of non-irritating salicylic acid).
