A Wildflower Year (their habitats & histories)

A Wildflower Year is a beautiful guide to over 60 flowers, each one eloquently described about its unique features and habitats, alongside gorgeous illustrations.
Read up on no-dig gardening. And pet-friendly gardens (many wildflowers including foxgloves are not safe, a reason to not send ‘plantable’ cards embedded with seeds, to homes with pets).
Wildflowers have a crucial role to play to protect our biodiversity, support pollinators (like bees and butterflies) and combat climate change. The book features a month-by-month ode to wildflowers, and a useful tool for identifying and growing your own.
Wildflowers featured in this book (all these three are toxic to pets) include:
- Cow parsley
- Common poppy
- Oregano
