Take your back back! Help for low back pain

take your back back

Take your back back is one of those books you feel that if everyone with back pain (plus every GP) read, there would be an awful lot less pain, less medicines bought, and less NHS costs.

This guide to healing low back pain is from a leading researcher. Of course sometimes medicine is needed, but often it’s not, or could be safely reduced. And this is the book to help do just that.

People often turn to medication and surgery, before they find out that some other approaches may help first.

The author knows what these solutions are. And seeing that the general public often don’t have access to this information, she decided to write this book.

Using clinical expertise with patient case studies, she empowers you to take control of your healing journey. You can then do what you can – and then seek medicine help if needed thereafter.

Dr Goertz explains:

She includes easy exercise to help what you find what works best for you. And takes you through tips to find the right doctor, not just one that throws pills at you, and hopes for the best.

Required reading for any person with acute or chronic low back pain. Chris Scaffrey ME (chief of Duke Spine Division)
