Unlike plastic ice cube trays, you don’t have to smash the tray on the counter, to get the ice cubes out! These are far gentler, just twist the tray or push the bottom of each compartment.
The separated sections also means the cubes don’t stick together. So if you only want two cubes, you won’t accidentally release five, and end up with wasted ice cubes (that’s wasted water) in the sink.

How to clean silicone ice cube trays
Silicone is very easy to clean, due to its smoothe texture. Just clean by hand with warm water and mild dish soap and rinse. As silicone is less likely to crack, your ice cube tray should last longer.
