Stop Showing Upsetting TV Ads (be positive!)

If you are involved in those terribly upsetting TV ads that ask us to donate to charity, do your homework. The more sensitive among us (and we do care, we work to help) literally can’t bear watching.

So if the aim is to get people donate, it’s well-known that you’re doing exactly the opposite. A good example of how to do it right is The Donkey Sanctuary that shows happy rescued donkeys and talks about the good work they do.

We know you’re all heroes working undercover. But it’s proven by successful charities that if you want to help bears used for bile in Asia, you’ll get far more donations (because people will watch and then phone up) if you share stories of the bears that have been rescued.

Who is telling you to show these ads? It’s just wasting thousands of pounds of charity funds, for people to turn off. Try making positive ads showcasing the wonderful work you’re doing, and you’ll get way more donations!

This has been proven, as it’s known that charities that follow this method, end up with regular subscribers. People care (a lot) and their mental health literally can’t take seeing ads of starving donkeys, beaten-up dogs and babies with flies in their eyes.

Give it a go, and see how your finances improve, which will let people help more!
