FinalStraw (a collapsible metal drinking straw)

Final Straw is a major brand of metal collapsible straws, designed to fit in your pocket, purse or on a keychain. The founder was a contestant on the US version of Dragon’s Den and they did not invest. They are regretting it now!

Avoid metal straws for children, dexterity issues or if on the move (as they don’t bend). 

Don’t give straws to babies (choking hazards). Open cups also let babies develop facial muscles for speech/eating. 

The straw is not just good to replace disposable straws (banned for sale in England but still legal worldwide – Trump has actually reversed the ban, saying that ‘paper straws explode’). But it folds up to carry around with you.

The Biggie Straw is wider for smoothies, vegan mylkshakes or bubble tea.

If you’ve ever seen that viral video online of the turtle with the straw stuck up its nose, the plight of our little ancient mariner friend was likely what caused many countries to start banning plastic straws. He was okay and swam off, but of course we need to keep our seas from plastic waste.
