Farm sanctuaries are not the same as city farms. These are volunteer-run places that take care of abused and neglected animals, often rescued from (or even illegal abattoirs). Most are run on tiny budgets, so a great way to help is to buy little gifts either for yourself (or others).

Baah-land is a sanctuary in Worcestershire, run by a devoted couple on a shoestring budget. You can buy organic cotton t-shirts and a large shopping tote for your vegan groceries!
