Salt of the Earth (plastic-free deodorant crystal)
Salt of the Earth deodorant crystal has just one ingredient, alum. This is not the same as aluminium, not recommended in deodorants. Natural mineral salt has been used as a deodorant for hundreds of years, and works by leaving an invisible layer of mineral salt on the skin, to stop bacteria.
Unscented. For purchasing other deodorants, avoid essential oils for pregnancy/nursing and wash off skin (due to possible cocoa butter or zinc oxide) before letting pets kiss you.
How to use a natural alum deodorant
Just apply to damp skin after washing (or wet to use on dry skin). Dry the crystal before placing back in the box, or store in a clean dry place.
May mark some household surfaces, marble and natural stone.
