Happywrap recycled Christmas gift wrap

Happywrap Christmas snowflake gift wrap is made from recycled paper and printed with vegetable inks. These paper gift wraps arrive folded. For orders of six sheets or more, orders are automatically rolled.

You can also select orders with twin to receive a 10 metre skein of fair trade hemp twine to wrap your gifts (add a message at checkout for choice of colours). Keep twine away from young children and pets.

Why choose recycled gift wrap?

Traditional gift wrap is made from virgin paper, which means chopping down trees to make it. These trees are often from Boreal forests in northern Europe, home to moose, elk, wolves and grizzly bears. Choosing post-consumer gift wrap saves trees, and helps to therefore reduce climate emissions.

How and where to recycle used gift wrap

If not good enough to use again, just recycle at kerbside bins (scrunch it into a ball – if it stays scrunched, it’s good to go).

You can’t recycle gift wrap with glitter or plastic coating, it has to be binned. That’s why it’s such a good idea to buy recycled gift wrap like this one!

Keeping pets safe at Christmas 

Keep pets away from from pine tree needles, candles and toxic plants (holly, mistletoe, lilies, poinsettias). And rinse paws with lukewarm water after snowy walk, to remove rock salt (which can burn at higher temperatures).

And obviously keep tempting toxic foods well away: not just chocolate but nutmeg, alcohol, nuts, citrus and basically any ‘human foods’.

If travelling for the festive season, don’t let dogs run for 2 hours after long car drives. Ensure microchips are up-to-date due to strange places and fireworks.
