Summer Pudding (an easy dessert to use up leftover fruits)

Summer pudding is an easy-peasy recipe to use up leftover red fruits, and day-old bread. You just basically cut the crusts off and line a pudding basin, add the sweetened fruit, then turn it upside down to stew in the fridge!
Keep these recipes away from pets due to bread and fruit pips/seeds. Never give stale/crusty/mouldy bread to garden birds or wildfowl, as it could choke (fats from butter also smear on feathers, affecting waterproofing and insulation).

Don’t want the bread? Then try this healthy summer pudding smoothie (Wallflower Kitchen). It even includes oats and flaxseed (full of omega 3 fatty acids) for that bread taste, without the bread!
