Alter/native Facial Vegan Cleansing Bars

These cleansing bars are zero-waste alternatives to plastic pots of cleansing lotions. The pink clay bar has a light floral scent.

Avoid beauty products with essential oils if pregnant/nursing. Many skincare items contain cocoa butter and/or zinc oxide (also found in sunscreens, cosmetics and deodorants). So if you live with pets, wash your skin before letting pets kiss you, or avoid items containing them.

The charcoal version is more for oily or clogged skin, and is slightly exfoliating, and scented with lime, lemongrass and tea tree oils.
