What causes urinary tract infections?
Urinary tract infections are one of the most common bacterial diseases worldwide, particularly in females (as women have a shorter urethra than men). They affect not just your bladder, but also the kidneys. They are used by bacteria entering the urinary tract, around 90% caused by E.coli bacteria.
When E.coli is unable to attach to the urinary tract walls, bacteria is eliminated from the body during urination and prevents infections from occurring.
