Lincolnshire (the Wolds, wild seals and Skegness)
Lincolnshire is one of England’s most naturally wild and beautiful coastlines, althogh the big towns like Skegness could do with a bit of a spruce-up. It’s one of the places where wild seals like to bask.
Inland you’ll find lots of nice market towns. This is one of the few counties in England with no motorway, so less lorries thundering along the roads.
If out walking, follow the Countryside Code to keep all creatures safe (learn how to upright an overturned sheep). Keep dogs away from steep banks, mushrooms, cliffs and toxic plants/trees.

Lincoln (a very steep hilly city)
Lincoln is a very beautiful ancient city. The cathedral was once the tallest building in the world. But it is very hilly. So if visiting, try to only visit the centre if you are very fit!
Give seals space at the coast
Seals like to bask here, so give seals space (and never play with flying rings) to keep seals safe. They love these gentle beaches to give birth and rest when not swimming.
The Wolds (hills along the coast)
The Lincolnshire Wolds are some of the most stunning scenery in England. These chalk hills provide striking contrast to the fens and coastal plains.
Also here you’ll find parts of The Fens, boggy land that grows most of our organic food.
Skegness (a forgotten resort)
Like Scarborough, this was one of England’s first seaside resorts. Due to a Butlin’s camp. It’s strange that despite the beauty of both here and Clacton-on-Sea, both towns have huge problems with litter and being run-down.
Yet both towns have elected Reform UK MPs (Richard Tice and Nigel Farage) who appear to do nothing to help either area.
