Bath (Roman baths, Royal Crescent, Pultney Bridge)
Bath is one of the world’s most beautiful cities, situated just 13 miles from Bristol in southwest England. Its known for its Roman baths and beautiful Royal Crescent.
This is also a very cultural city, if you like art galleries and museums.

The Roman Baths
Although you can no longer swim in them, the Roman Baths remains a top tourist spot to visit. These ancient bathing bools are surrounded by historic stonework and statues.
The Royal Crescent
This is Bath’s Georgian architecture at its finest, and often appears in period dramas. Said to modelled on Stonehenge, this sweeping curve of grand townhouses are now mostly museums and a hotel. Overlooking Royal Victoria Park.
The Circus is another example of Georgian architecture, designed by John Wood the Elder. It has three curved sections of buildings around a circular central space.
Pulteney Bridge
It just gets better, the architecture is just beautiful. Situated on the River Avon, it has shops built alongside both sides, inspired by the Ponte Vecchio in Florance.
Associated with Jane Austen
Jane lived in Bath for a while, and based two novels here. So her influence is everywhere.
