Green People scent-free cleanser

It’s made with natural plant-based ingredients to sweep away dirt and even waterproof make-up. The creamy forulation is especially suitable for people with red inflamed skin or rosacea.

  • Shea butter to deeply moisturise
  • Rosemary extract to help protect skin cells
  • Inulin prebiotics to balance and hydrate skin

Why is facial cleansing important?

Throughout the day, sweat, excess sebum, makeup, sunscreen and environmental particles can accumulate on the skin. Cleansing helps remove these substances so that your skin feels comfortable and clean.

Even if you do not wear makeup, cleansing can still form an important part of an evening skincare routine. However, effective cleansing does not mean aggressively scrubbing your face or trying to remove every trace of natural oil.

Your skin has a natural barrier that helps protect it, so a good cleanser should clean without unnecessarily leaving the skin feeling stripped or uncomfortable.

How to choose the right skin cleanser

There is no universal cleanser that suits everyone. Your ideal product depends on your skin type, concerns and personal preferences.

Dry skin

If your skin tends to feel dry or tight, you may prefer a cleanser designed to cleanse gently without leaving your complexion feeling stripped.

Oily skin

If you have oily skin, you may prefer a cleanser that leaves your face feeling fresh without being excessively harsh. Trying to remove every trace of oil can be counterproductive if it leaves your skin irritated.

A balanced routine is usually more useful than aggressive cleansing.

Combination skin

Combination skin can have both oily and dry areas. The T-zone may become shiny while the cheeks remain relatively comfortable or dry.

Choose a cleanser that provides effective cleansing without making the drier areas feel tight.

Sensitive skin

If your skin is sensitive, pay particular attention to ingredients and fragrance. Introduce new products gradually and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

If you experience persistent irritation, discontinue use and seek appropriate professional advice.

When should you cleanse your face?

Many people choose to cleanse their face in the evening. This is particularly useful for removing makeup, sunscreen, sweat and the day’s accumulated impurities.

Some people also cleanse in the morning, while others prefer simply rinsing their face with water. There is no need to follow a rigid routine if it does not suit your skin.

The most important thing is to establish a cleansing habit that keeps your skin comfortable and works with the rest of your skincare routine.
