Help Prevent Brain Fog (simple tips and ideas)

We’ve all been there. Brain fog is when you think something is a good idea at the time, and then change your mind later on, because you can’t think clearly. This can be due to overwhelm (like this site at one time, but it’s gradually getting better due to the backlog ending and more clarity).
Other causes can be menopause, some say gluten can cause brain fog in some people, and often it’s simply due to needing a rest, or even a lack of certain nutrients.
Tips to help prevent brain fog
- Ensure you get a good 7 to 9 hours sleep each night.
- Prioritise good nutrition food.
- Drink plenty of plain filtered water.
- Exercise (this boosts blood flow to the brain)
- Relax through anything you like: prayer, mindfulness meditation, yoga, hobbies
- Avoid multi-tasking. Focus on one task at a time.
- Limit alcohol and caffeine, especially after the morning.
- Get some rest, don’t overstimulate your brain!
Feel (a sustainable supplement to prevent ‘brain fog’)

Feel Focus is a quality supplement, sold in a sustainable packaging, with results expected in 90 days, for better memory and less ‘brain fog’. It focuses on neurotransmitters, and contains high B vitamins and B12, plus zinc for cognitive health.
Most people don’t need supplements for their brains. But if you GP thinks you would benefit, go for sustainable vegan brands from experts.
Consult GP before taking supplements if you have medical conditions or are on medication (avoid ginkgo for epilepsy, bleeding disorders, pregnancy or nursing). Avoid choline for bi-polar disorder.
Keep supplements away from children and pets. Recycle unused supplements/medicines at pharmacies (never flush them down the loo).
Join the Transparent Label Campaign
The Transparent Label Campaign is a worldwide movement set up by US supplement company Terraseed, to demand that supplement companies list full ingredients, so people can avoid ones with gelatine, fish, collagen, creatine and magnesium stearate (mostly in vitamin D and omega 3 supplements – which cause the death of 24 billion creatures each year).
Also boycott krill supplements (you can easily get omega 3 fatty acids from nuts, seeds or algae supplements). Krill is an important food for whales, seals, penguins and fish, and removal causes by-catch of other creatures.
