Friendly bar soaps (from Yorkshire’s Calder Valley)

Friendly Soaps are widely sold at markets and in health shops. Or buy in packs of 12, to save on postage. You can even buy bags of ‘soap scraps’.

Just be sure to store on a soap saver pad to drain off water, to avoid them going mushy.

Choose unscented soaps for pregnancy/nursing and children. Avoid shea butter for latex allergies. Never use human soaps on pets (the PH is different – read more on how to give dogs baths, naturally).
