Altid organic clothing

Most men like a few staple t-shirts and sweatshirts. Organic cotton is not just good for the planet, wildlife and farmers, but also more comfortable for you. Organic cotton is more breathable so nicer in cool or warm weather, and also less likely to make you itch (so great for people with eczema). Safe to launder without releasing microplastics, at end of use, these shirts safely degrade back to the earth. Although organic cotton costs a little more, the fibres have not been treated by chemicals, so clothing lasts longer, so works out better value long-term.

Altid organic clothing

Altid is a quality brand of organic cotton t-shirts and sweatshirts for men, founded by three men who worked in the fashion industry and became frustrated at companies who would source synthetic fibres from developing countries. Determined to create ‘kinder cleaner clothing’, all items are made from 100% organic cotton (no polyester or ‘recycled polyester’) and made ethically in Portugal, by workers paid a living wage (higher than minimum wage) who work in a family-run factory powered by solar energy. All packaging is plastic-free and the brand even delivers in London on bicycles to reduce carbon footprint.

The range includes lots of t-shirts in muted or bright colours, plus some comfy sweatshirts and hoodies for chilly days. Note the socks do contain a little elastane, so if bought, launder in a microplastic catcher.
