Pothecary gin (organic drinks from Dorset)
Pothecary Gin is one of England’s few certified organic gin brands, which is so good that it’s won awards at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. This is a very elite medal, and winning one is not easy!
Rinse then recycle bottles (caps can be left on, machines separate them). Recycle corks in bulk at Recorked.
Corks are too dense to compost, so send off in bulk to Recorked for recycling.
Serving suggestions for Pothegary gin
- 2 green olives
- A twist of lemon or orange peel
- Hand-crushed rosemary or lemon sprig
The range includes:
- Floral gin with lavender aromas and lemon, with black mulberries and juniper core. Nice with sparkling wine for a gin fizz.
- Sicilian blend – juniper and toasted almond flavours, with refreshing citrus peel.
- Gin Thai blend with tropical fruits, floral herbs and a kick of cayenne
- English country garden gin – aromas and tastes of rose and apple
- Sloe gin – dry rather than sweet, this is made from ‘spent berries’ and soaked in Trinity Blend for some months.
