A Guide to North West England, Naturally

North West England only covers a few counties, as they are so big. Nearly all of Cumbria is taken up by The Lake District, England’s largest National Park. And within it are all of England’s highest mountains and 16 lakes. And lots and lots of rain – and sheep!
It borders Lancashire, home to the pretty seaside resort of Lytham St Annes (far quieter than its neighbour in Blackpool). And of course there is the city of Manchester (a lot in the news at present!)
You also have parts of Yorkshire, Sheffield is one of England’s greenest cities.
All of this area is lovely. But one thing is for sure – bring your wellies and sustainable raincoast!
Welcome to the North West of England!
